Build And Destroy badges

The return of the Build and Destroy badges happened today. I got 100 in the post. Watch out for these in various places over the UK. Well, maybe a shop in Edinburgh and I might try one in Glasgow.

Kling Klang album

I've recently been getting into the releases of Mogwai's record label, Rock Action. Anyway, there is this band from Liverpool called Kling Klang and they sound a bit like Goblin and Kraftwerk mashed together. That's pretty lazy comparisons for you, but with a name like Kling Klang, you should expect some Kraftwerk references. Anyway, to the point. Their album is being released in November and I can't wait to hear it. I think their might be a tour as well for it, which should be good. These guys are noisy!

The record is scheduled for release November 6th through SRD in the UK and the tracklist is;
heavydale
superposition 1
flying hotel
vander
scanner
apex
rocker
tesla’s future war
nexus
red cuffs
radio hotel
untitled@33rpm
superposition 2
radium
h’vydale
heavydale (video)

Answer

The new Answer season should be dropping soon. Some excellent designs from Ben Drury will be appearing. Have you seen his stuff for Nike? Its pretty good. Its out now to buy.

Trevor Jackson

I recently discovered the Trevor Jackson website. It's pretty indepth and has loads of examples of his work as well as some mixes he has done as well. I wonder what he will be selling on his website?

RTHQ

It's great to see Rift Trooper putting something new on his website! Check out the new radar section. All good stuff. The badges are cool as well.

Optimo Electrobeat mix

You can download an electrobeat mix by Optimo over at their website. It's really good.

Emperor Machine - Vertical Tones and Horizontal Noise

At last, the second Emperor Machine album is due to be released in October on DC Recordings. From his recent output, alot of his stuff is alot more Kraut Rock oriented, but it is still awesome. This music for sci fi movies! Excellent artwork by Laboca design as well. I can't wait for this release! Check out the tracklisting below.

DC Recordings present Death Before Distemper

In my opinion DC Recordings are releasing some of the best music at the moment. They have recently begun to do a one hour long show on samurai.fm once a month called Death Before Distemper. Voice Of The Seven Woods

Voice Of The Seven Woods should be releasing a new 7" single through Twisted Nerve later on this year. After recent performances, I can honestly say that they are well worth checking out live. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the show is rocking and full of surprises. It's not just a guy plaiyng the guitar. Seriously!

UNKLE remix Massive Attack

UNKLE have remixed the recent Massive Attack single false flags. There should be some promos going on sale through the Massive Attack website, according to their newsletter. Pablo from the Psychonauts has been in the studio with UNKLE on this remix, so let's hope it isn't as dull as their recent remixes.

Silver Apples - The Garden

It seems like the Silver Apples will be releasing a new album later this year. The vinyl will be released through Bully Records. This should be interesting. In case you didn't know, the SIlver Apples were a two piece group from New York in the late 60s. They consisted of a drummer and a bank of oscillators making some of the craziest music ever to be heard. It still sounds fresh and exciting today and has been a big influence on people like LCD Soundsystem, UNKLE, the Chicken Lips and loads more.
