Mad Decent

Not much up right now but this is Diplo's new record label. So far the only known signing is Bonde Do Role, a group of 2 djs with one female mc he met in Brazil. Check Turntable Lab for a cd promo while you wait for the vinyl to drop in February.

Oh, and I cosign on the messageboard.

Cybernetic Broadcasting System top 100 of 2005

You can download the whole of the Cyberntic Broadcasting System top 100 tunes of 2005! It is an interesting listen. Lots of mad italo tunes and electro. Inspiring as well. I am slowly working my way through it. I see one of my fave tunes from last year has made it into the top ten. Lindstrom - I Feel Space. Awesome.

Sleepless Crew - Spell House

I love records that use speak and spells! There is a new 12" out on Dalriada records by some people called Sleepless Crew and it is a wicked little acid house number. It's got some wicked synths in it as well. The b-sides are ok, but the a-side is the bomb. Seek it out if you can. Piccadilly Records in Manchester were selling it and so is Rubadub in Glasgow.

For years I have always enjoyed the skewed sounds of Cherrystones. I think he has only reelased a few 12"s and a couple of 7"s, but he has done some good remixes. I picked up on him as he gets a mention on the Seraph - Musical Messenger sleeve. Anyway, I will get to the point. He has been signed to Poptones after being on Twisted Nerve for a while. Check out his biog on the Poptones site and you can get some sneaky downloads to listen to.
