New 'ZILLA' mix coming soon

‘ZILLA’ – GRINTED TEETH & BRAWLSVILLE…… is the latest mix by 'ZILLA'. You may know him from doing the Warp DVD mix cd along with his friend Buddy Peace. It will be out soon and will be available at a few stores that sell online. More news nearer the time. The tracklisting looks sick though.

A Tribute To Jazzy Jay

Rcently there has been a reissue of the excellent A Tribute To Jazzy Jay by the Bronx Dogs. This came out in 1997 and is still a storming tune. Buy it if you can. It also has an excellent remix by Richard Sen on the flipside. Kinda punk funk stuff. Seek and buy.

New Coldcut video.

Check out the video for the new Coldcut song. It's called Mr Nichols.

Playable in Windows Media Player.

Playable in Realaudio.

New Issue of Lodown

I meant to say ages ago that the latest issue of Lodown is out now. There are some interesting articles in it. I liked A Bearded Man article, there is also a Will Bankhead article and the usual Lodown nonsense, and yes there are girls in there underwear as usual.

White Ninja

White Ninja makes me laugh.

The Shadow Percussion Project

Now this is pretty damn special. This guy has recreated some of DJ Shadow's work using a school band. Now I am sure that DJ Shadow would approve of that!

Your Girl Got Dicked By Ricky Powell

My friend Martin is on the ball at the moment with the minty fresh HOT news. I am assuming he just forwarded me the Colette news letter thing.

Ricky Powell from August 29 to October 1st

Ricky Powell aka living legend of the New York underground scene presents his latest book "Public Access: Photographs 1985-2005" (edited by Sara Rosen / PowerHouse Books) and unveils a selection of his work spanning twenty years of his career in the colette first-floor gallery. From RUN DMC to Public Enemy, his photographs capture fleeting moments and often spotlight everyday faces found on the streets of NYC.

Discover his images adorned with work by assorted artists including Dalek, DAZE, SEEN, KAWS, JEST, etc. Book signed and available on our eshop.

Big thanks to Upper Playground for the last stock of "Oh Snap!" (30 euros), and for the cult-ish DVD "Rappin' with The Rickster" (25 euros).
This exhibition has been made possible thanks to Adidas. T-shirt editions and tracksuit tops for guys and girls in (seriously) limited-edition quantity, also available on the colette eshop.

It's only 39 euros!
